Every one, at some point, will have to make a quick switch from the office to a fancy restaurant, or from school straight to town. It seems like so much effort at the end of a long day but trust me, you only need a few bits to go from your natural day look to one hell of a night look - plus they're probably already in your cupboard!

Shadow
Eyeshadow, to me, is the go-to for dressing up your look! I don't tend to wear shadows during the day because it's both a bit of an effort and I don't want to feel over-dressed for work. There are so many options to go for and you can get sets that make it pretty easy to do quickly at your desk! Whether you're going for smokey, natural or something bright & bold, you can find eyeshadow trios and mini palettes pretty much anywhere. Once you have one, all you need is a couple of brushes and you're good to go!

Lashes
Another one I only tend to go for if I'm going out - lashes. Adding a pair of lashes definitely spruces up your look and they're the finishing touch you need to make you look just that bit more glam. The possibilities are endless when it comes to styles and most of them come with lash glue included, just make sure you have a pair of tweezers and you're all set to apply them on the go!

Brow Top-up
This might just be me but I like to top up my eyebrows if I'm going out. I feel like making them just a little bit bolder kind of matches up to the rest of my made-up face(?). I use my Benefit Browzings kit every day and it comes with it's own handy little brushes, so I just need to pop it in my purse and I'm ready to top them up at the end of the day!

Quick Contour
I'm not one for contouring on a day-to-day basis, but it's a nice little touch to add if you're heading out. Surely we all know what contouring is by now and the effect that it gives, so in my eyes it's a nice addition in your day to night routine - especially if there are likely to be photos! All you need is a bronzing powder and a brush or a mini contour kit, you just quickly swipe it in the desired areas, giving you chiseled cheekbones instantly!

Lip Switch
This is definitely my favourite part of the process - lip colour! I'm one of those people that have specific day and night colours - mostly because I go for comfortable clothing during the day so a vivid lip would look a bit odd. I tend to be a lot more daring when I go out too, so reds, purples and generally darker and brighter colours come out to play! If you're wearing a matte lipstick that won't budge during the day then you're only going to need some Vaseline and a tissue/cloth to get it off, then you're good to go! I'd definitely recommend applying some sort of moisturizing product in between colours though, you don't want your lips drying out!
