How to be trendy in your 30’s

During our 20’s we tend to wear more revealing clothes because were young and feel sexy. When we’re in our late 20’s our bodies start to change we have kids, our metabolism slows down we get curves that we didn’t have before.

We want to look sexy but so much, changes. We need to keep up with the trends, you don’t have to show so much skin and still look sexy but classy.

You don’t have to wear tight clothes to look sexy either.

A single haircut can change your appearance. Play around with your hair.

Believe it or not the older we get the better shorter hair looks on us.

A trench coat is a must. It add a more sophisticated look!

We cannot forget about our skin and makeup. As we get older our skin starts to lose elasticity and firmness. Experiment with makeup contour and highlight.

Open your eyes more with makeup. Try moisturizing your skin more and adding anti-aging creams.

The Busy Girl's Guide to Waking Up Pretty (Smart Tips)

As a mother of 3 children, wife, working make up artist and blogger I think it's pretty safe to say I know what busy is. Feeling confident and beautiful with minimum fuss is very important. So in a pinch I have found these tips to be quick, smart and effective.

1. You are what you eat. Be sure to maintain a healthy diet packed with fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated is imperitive to maintaining glowing, supple skin. Healthy eating habits is the best way to make sure you wake up beautiful everyday!!!

2. Exfoliate regularly. If you wear make up regularly (like me) a routine of exfoliation will keep your pores clear and skin smooth. Even if you don't wear make up, exfoliating removes dead skin cells, debris from free radicals, and polishes the skin's surface.  I recommend exfoliating 2-3 times a week

Quick tip: Soft bristle face brushes work well with your regular facial cleanser. If you don't have one, add a pinch of baking soda to your cleanser for a non abrasive exfoliant. Be sure to moisturize your skin daily.

3. Green tea eye masks. This tip is amazing to waking up flawlessly. Let's face it, we've all had those nights where we've cried hard, or turned up a little too much. Our eyes turn red, they puff up, they burn. Omg...what do I do?!

Quick tip: Steep a green tea bag in cold water for 5-10 minutes. Lay down, place the bags on your eyes. The tea bags will cool, moisturize, relax, and are full of antioxidants. At times, I've slept in them. When you wake up; no puffiness, no redness, just bright beautiful eyes. If you don't want to sleep in them, just marinate in them for 15-20 minutes. No one would guess the kind of night you had, trust me!!

4. Invest in instant glam. Some if us are make up junkies (I'll be the first to admit it) lol. However time doesn't always allow a full face beat down. Or if you have a career where the full beat would be inappropriate, try this. Instant glam is one of my favorite looks.

Quick tip: Pop on a pair of falsies. Strip lashes are a quick fun way to spruce up your look without the cake face. Try a bit of concealer for blemishes, and a BB cream. A lip gloss (colored or clear).  Dust on a touch of powder/bronzer and VOILA!!!! Instant glam. 10 minutes tops!!!

When it comes to being beautiful we all are. However, sometimes life can strip us of it whether stress, diet, or age. So ladies, let's be smart about it. Purify and beautify from the inside out, so when you wear make up it becomes simply an enhancement. Let your beauty shine!!!! Thanks for reading!!!! Love ya!
