15 Simple DIY Valentine Decorating Ideas for your home <3

When you think of Valentine’s Day you probably think of hearts, doilies and tissue paper crafts. All of those are cute when your 7 years old but older you might not think so. I love decorating for Valentine’s day, in fact, I love Valentine’s day whether I’m in a relationship or not. This year I went on a quest through the vast Internet to find some Valentine’s Day crafts to decorate my home with that are simple and super affordable. So now I present to you my favorite 15! Mason Jar Candles

The great things about these jars are that they are totally customizable! Use your favorite song’s sheet music or even your favorite novel! Why not put flowers in them or give them as a gift! You could even fill them with candy hearts to make them more colorful. The possibilities are endless with these jars.

Heart Yarn Ornaments

Check out these cute ornaments! I’ve actually had the chance to make these a couple years ago, so I was pretty excited when I found the instructions to make them again. These hearts can be hung on anything and anywhere.

XO Candy Jars

Love is sweet and your Valentine decorations should be too. Basically, take any mason jar and candle stick to create a unique way to display your sweets. You can even get creative and spell L-O-V-E with four jars. Use different candlestick lengths to create a different looks.

Rose Bouquet Ball

Classic and simple, this rose bouquet ball is beautiful. Not only is this great to know how to make for Valentine’s Day but could also be useful for decorating birthday parties, weddings or baby showers!

Ruffled Heart Wreath

Felt is one of the easiest materials to work with. This wreath is a little time consuming but totally worth it! You can put on your favorite movie while you’re cutting out some circles. Use a few different shades of pink to create an ombre effect by going from darkest to lightest.

Love String Art

String art projects are so enjoyable. All you’ll need is a piece of wood or a canvas; plenty of nails, string and of course a hammer. Just Print out your image or letters and cut out to create a template. Trace the image lightly or just tape image down and hammer nails around it. Finally, break out the string and go to town!
